Visiting a Prisoner

The Visitor’s Centre provides a safe non-judgmental environment where people visiting inmates at Albany Regional Prison can relax, have a ‘cuppa’ and a chat with our friendly staff.  There are also lockers, bathroom facilities and a children’s corner to occupy the smaller visitors, while waiting for entry into the prison.

We process visitors at the Albany Regional Prison. In doing so we are able to provide a friendly and non-threatening environment for families and children. Visitors are encouraged to engage with PIVOT staff to discuss any issues of concern or to ask for help and assistance.
